Masjid Parit 6 board meeting

Masjid or Mosque is the center for any village in Malaysia, including my kampung Parit 6. Last Tuesday night, a board meeting was held in the Mosque Lobby. Some of the most interesting issue were:

• al-Quran class for young children will be conducted once a week.
• consideration of establishing art class - 'kompang'
• suggestion to establish youth 'marhaban' team

Well that's great because ample room for children and youth to be involve in Masjid activity are given.

In previous time (long-long ago), masjid was the center for people activity. I think it's about time we give the same responsibility to masjid this days.
